Twilight in Chaos!

Canabalt with upgrades and ponies! 8-bit style, simple arcade gameplay, and of course, open source!

Made using C#, MonoGame, Fruity Loops, ASEPRITE, Paint.NET, sfxr, and a bit of audacity.

Since it's .NET, you'll have to launch it with Mono if you're on Linux. You'll also have to replace the DLLs with the ones in the Linux folder. No mac builds, sorry.

If you're on windows, you'll need .NET 4.0 installed (you can get it from Microsoft's website). You don't need XNA installed, as MonoGame comes packaged with the game.

-If you're going to use linux, you HAVE to have Mono installed, and it HAS to be >2.8!-

I'm having trouble getting this to work under Linux. I know at one point a good version was uploaded since I was the one who responded to your call for Linux testers on IRC... Its currently throwing "Unhandled Exception: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'Chaos.MLPGame' from assembly 'Chaos, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'."

Can't get this to run with Win 7. I tried both Chaos and Chaos-Win. The process starts up and then dies a few seconds later without ever producing a window.

What is this I don't even... And yet I find it strangely alluring.
